Security Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

As Security Hardware Engineer you develop, integrate, and analyze cutting-edge silicon-based security solutions to enable security domains and trusted foundations for Axelera AI platforms.

Location  

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with the option to relocate near an Axelera AI office or work remotely from any European country. 

Your role 

Your tasks will mainly include the following:  

• Design and implementation of cryptographic digital hardware modules and security mechanisms - development of security mitigations against threats
• Security components testing and verification
• Integration of hardware security components into the computing platform to support platform software resilience, secure communication, and trusted execution
• Design reviews and vulnerability analysis for Hardware security components

Your profile                          

• Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Solid experience in RTL Design & RTL simulation & technical document writing
• Solid experience in developing, testing, and integrating cryptographic primitives and protocols
• Experience in hardware designs (FPGA, 3rd party IP, ASIC)
• Experience with embedded software development
• Experience with side-channel leakage assessment methods, and with side channel testing
• Experience with scripting languages
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in English, both in speaking and writing is a must
• You are a team player and you are also able to autonomously plan and perform research tasks 
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and want to realize high ambitions
