As Director of Product Marketing Management – AI Processing Unit you will be involved in the most important decisions on product features, technology and go to market. You will bridge the gap between market needs and company R&D helping to develop, deliver and promote a product with the best product-market fit.

You will have to envision customer future needs, identify existing problems our technology can solve efficiently and translate all of this into product features. You will have to identify potential market opportunity, partners and create a strategy and a narrative to launch and promote our future products.

You need to be a visionary, a great communicator, a strategist and have a solid background in semiconductor and deep learning supported by a successful experience in product management.

You will report directly to company CEO and work very close to CTO, AI system product director, hardware directors, product directors, marketing department.

Your role

Your role will mainly include the following:

• Collect customer and market needs to define the future AI processing unit features (usability, price, performance)
• Help connecting hardware and software R&D with potential strategic partners and customers
• Articulate and motivate the market needs and transfer the requirements to R&D
• Benchmark Axelera AI technology and product specifications versus competition
• Help identifying and defining the unique value proposition of Axelera product and technology
• Create product presentation and help creating technology presentation with the support of R&D
• Create in collaboration with marketing and R&D proper product documentation
• Help defining and creating product kit for fast adoption in collaboration with AI Integrated System Director
• Collect information about competition (company size, funding, technology, product, valuation, revenue etc )
• Present the product to partner, customers, public events
• Define and implement product marketing strategy
• Help defining product price strategy
• Help creating product marketing material and to define a marketing communication plan and strategy in collaboration with Marketing Director and CEO
• Help identifying future market needs in the same market segment
• Help identifying potential new market segments and opportunities  and define a strategy to intercept them
• Help collecting technology and product needs to penetrate new markets
• Collect information related TAM, SAM of today and tomorrow product and technology
• Working with CEO, CTO and R&D, help coordinating future product and technology roadmap
• Capture new product trends and formulate a winning strategy
• Collaborate to R&D to make sure required features are feasible and reflected in the product
• Help identify possible hardware and software strategic partners and customers

Your profile

• At least 5 years in product management in computing / semiconductor companies working with B2B customers
• Proven track record in defining product specifications, roadmap and launch of new products
• Great communication skills supported by a strong technical background in computing and deep learning
• Good knowledge of AI semiconductor ecosystems
• Good understanding of Internet of Things and edge computing
• Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing. English mother tongue is a plus.

Location: Netherlands (preferred) but we are willing to consider any strong candidate located in Europe
